Initiating a battle is very clunky at least for warriors. You have to double click on an enemy to attack it which is nearly impossible when you have them bunched up. Using a tech like slash means that when you kill the enemy you targeted you stop attacking leading to frantic clicking trying to get the character to attack the next enemy. This coupled with the lag makes the defense quests very difficult not because you are too weak to complete them just that very often you just dont have a chance to. Even with no one else using my DSL connection lag is still a serious problem leading to an inability to get the 30 second medal in the Choco Treasure Hunt quest at level 25 (!!).
Many of the quests even the ones marked as low level are frustrating due to this and the fact that grinding is essentially the only way to beat certain quests unless you are lucky enough to find a party of people. I am not kidding I spent over 3 hours total grinding up to level 15-23 only to find the next quests in the area around Ashaya were to difficult given the many enemies bunched together

Thanks for your review! One thing that might help is going to your Options and select "Attack with a single click" under "Combat" - that will make you attack immediately after clicking anything.
You can also press 'E' to circle between enemies (it'll target close monsters first, in particular if they are aggressive or attacking you), and hitting your auto-attack hotkey (1 by default) will make you attack it then. If you have any other preferred way of targeting an enemy, let me know, and I'll add it in!

As for lag, I see that you had packet loss almost each time you played - with some packets arriving up to 60 seconds late (60 391ms on Sep 30) - so I can understand why it's frustrating. If it's not DSL, I can only imagine that it's a problem with wireless. I'll send you a link so you can run a traceroute - maybe we can figure out what's going on.

Good game but there are some flaws. Controlling via the mouse leads to unintentional deaths if you click more than 4 blocks away and run into a laser by accident as he turns as soon as possible to orient himself on a straight line. Undoing can cause the game to glitch up and some enemies will be mysteriously destroyed. Also undoing leads to instant death sometimes as the character is not completely in the square that he was in previously which means you can get run over by an enemy. Game tends to be somewhat easy despite these flaws.

Ok but there are some very annoying glitches in this game. The game would often times crash when I was under 100 kills. Other times the game would stop spawning enemies when I had only 2 left on the counter. Waiting did nothing as did clicking any of the buttons it seemed.

Game is difficult but for all of the wrong reasons namely horrid control.
Many times the tank behaves and flips any direction it wants. Often you can get through a section just fine on the first run but find yourself flipping on the second run. Despite doing nothing different

io3creations responds:

Did you play v1.0.2 or an earlier version?

I would be curious to see that "the tank behaves and flips any direction it wants". I don't get that part at all. If someone could record that part, that would be great!

Too difficult the only one who has the first five levels completed medal unlocked is the author......which should tell you something.....
The second level starts out like Starevil on Action 52 where you need to reaction time of a boxer in order to stop yourself from dying

Game is hard but for all the wrong reasons. Controls are bad because you are using the mouse which means if you are in a tight spot right before the goal you are essentially dead. This due to the fact that if you leave the cursor to close to the character he will not move which means if you had to drop down past a spike filled platform and forgot to move the cursor far enough to the right you are screwed and must do the whole stage over again. Game is very glitchy as well. It does not save between acts one and two. Also it does crash after each act after the second one and displays a white screen which means you must refresh after every act is done and hope that your game is saved. The way you have to invisible items up is just awkard. Rather than having to go to it and then click on it in isometric view you should just be able to walk to it and have it that way.

If you have a mediocre PC dont expect this game to work even IF you have Flash 11+ installed. I do on my upstairs PC with a 3 ghz processor and onboard video but the game will not run on that but will run on my souped PC in the basement.

FlyingColours responds:

Thanks for the review and sorry you didn't enjoy the game! Also, I've fixed the save bug (which is causing the scenes to 'crash'), but the old save files are retained, so the problem persists if you started playing before the bugfix.

I've considered just walking there, too, but the player may end up taking the item without being aware of it, so I've decided against it. :O

The game has a real problem with lag and in refreshing the page I noticed that the game did not save anything from level 12 onwards meaning I had to replay the last 5 stages I beat before I had to refresh due to lag

Great sequel but the jumping mechanics are glitchy and the levels seem to repeat unless you press escape and go back to the level select menu to start the next level manually. Very often you cannot jump off of an ice block when it starts to fall which means in order to finish that stage I had to do S jumps and avoid all ice blocks as it was impossible to time it perfectly without hitting a block above me and falling down into the electricity. Sometimes when jumping if you are just slightly touching the wall your jump will be interrupted I cannot tell you how many times that caused me to die and start the level over again.

Munguia responds:

Thanks MatthewF, i fix the levels bug, now is ok, and you are right the jumping mechanics need an upgrade, working on it, :)

Ok but the controls are way too sensitive esp. for the crucial jump after wave 3

hicham responds:

helpfull comment , thanks :)

An improvement over the first as you can now find coins much easier but the hitbox problem is still there. While fleeing from a jellyfish at angle you will get killed if they are one body length behind you or more, however, it does not happen if they are in a straight line behind you....

Still 4 stars for the improvement.
